Hello gents, i have a 92 ih bus with 22. 5 dayton wheels.

Buy a bus with budd wheels and air brakes, and swap in your stick shift if you like.

Tubetype 20″ dayton wheels can be replaced by 22. 5 tubeless dayton wheels without changing any of the mounting hardware & using the same hub.

Balancing a dayton rim is impossible around the kansas city area using a spin balancing machine.

Dayton wheel to 10 lug conversion.

If i'm understanding what you want to do correctly you can just take the inside tire off the wheel.

I can't seem to locate a suitable wheel based on a modern conversion.

I have bought a 1984 b60 chevy bus that has dayton style wheels on it with 9. 00 20's and want to swap to 10 r22. 5 tires since the 20's are unobtainum anymore.

I was blowing tires out every time i used this trailer!

This same conversion works for 15″ tubetype going to 17. 5″ tubeless & 22″ tubetype going to 24. 5″ tubeless.

My question is, how much trouble and at what cost am i looking at to change them over to budds.

You can upgrade your tire/rim combo to a 22. 5 single piece rim very easily.

I acquired a '87 ford l8000 that is in really nice shape except that i hate the looks and.

Those have an inner wheel a spacer ring and an outer wheel.

You can still get new dayton rims in the 22. 5 size for about 150 a piece, or you can find set of used.
