The calgary police service recently honoured three civilians and a one of their own who helped save lanny mcdonald’s life.

Webalan mackie was presented with the prestigious carnegie hero medal on sunday (april 14) during a special ceremony at the grand valley fire department for rescuing his elderly neighbour from a house fire.

Webin its first announcement of 2022, the carnegie hero fund is proud to recognize 18 civilians who risked their lives to save others.
